Freedom Township Historical Society is busily preparing for a Freedom veterans display at our November 11 meeting/program. We are asking you and/or any veteran from Freedom to submit a short biography and picture if possible of your military service for display at our November program. The picture could be a copy or if it’s the real deal, it would be returned to you. Eventually, all this information will be put in a special notebook and other media forms to be permanently preserved.
We welcome information about any Freedom veteran from the American Revolution (we know of 3) to the wars in the Middle East. It would be very helpful to receive this info by November 7 so we have time to arrange the display. There are a few Bicentennial calendars that will be available at our November 11 meeting. They would make excellent Christmas gifts.
