Freedom Township Historical Society Fall Festival and Open House at Drakesburg School

Come celebrate Fall in Freedom  Saturday, September 23 from 10AM- 4 PM at the Freedom Township Pavilion and Town Hall at the intersections of State Routes 303/700/ & 88.  Freedom Township Historical Society will be selling pumpkins and gourds.   There will be a wide selection of big pumpkins, little pumpkins, white pumpkins and gourds donated by Pochedly Farms for the benefit of the historical society.  Bundled corn stalks will also be available.  All of these fall decorative items are available on a donation basis.

     Freedom books by Deral White will be available for a $5.00 donation.  There will also be T-shirt/sweatshirt order forms; Freedom Historical Society baseball caps have arrived. Come support our society as it plans for setting up displays of local memorabilia and artifacts at our museum.

     Additionally, the one room school at  Drakesburg,7276 St Rt 303, will be open from 10AM – 2PM.  This is a short drive from the other activities at the town center.

     This event is held in conjunction with the Freedom Community and Park Boosters Car/Craft/Vendor Show at the Freedom town Hall and Community Center.  They will also have Cow Chip Bingo, a 50/50 raffle, raffle baskets and food.
