Freedom Township Historical Society barn picture display

986

Saturday, July 12 is a big day for the Freedom Historical Society.  We will have 80 plus pictures of Freedom barns with their addresses on display at our school # 2, 7276 St Rt 303.  The school will be open from 10 – 3 PM.  We encourage you to bring  picture(s) of your barn and to share information about your family farm and/or barn.   Society members have spent many hours putting this display together.  This display will also be open for the public viewing on Sunday, July 20 during and right after the Community Picnic from 1-4 PM.

In addition, on July 12 Freedom Historical Society will also have a booth at the Christmas in July craft show held near the town hall from 10 – 3 PM.  We will be selling our 18 month BICENTENNIAL CALENDARS for $15.00 which features pictures from the pages of Freedom’s history.

BICENTENNIAL t-shirts in a lovely shade of blue will also be available for $20.00.  It will be the perfect time to show your support for your township and your historical society.  Questions, call Judy at  330.527.7669.
