Free educational forums sponsored by the Ohio Environmental Council will provide an opportunity for citizens of Northeast Ohio to learn about the current state of regulation and science on high-volume, horizontal hydraulic fracturing (“fracking”).
An OEC representative will discuss the importance of citizen involvement and how to comment on proposed rules by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Oil and Gas Resources Management.
Additional experts will speak about the air, land and water quality concerns associated with fracking.
