The Aspire Program is a non-profit that has served adults in Portage County for over 30 years. Aspire has sites available throughout Portage County in the morning, afternoon, or evening, which provides:
• HSE/GED classes – Earn your high school equivalency at your own pace. Attend class and a certified instructor will guide you with your studies or work online with your own laptop or tablet. We have free pre-testing and you have the possibility of earning your HSE/GED for free (ask for details).
• Refresh your skills – If you already have your high school diploma and want to refresh your skills, we can help you with English, reading or math.
• Medical Readiness – Prepare for the medical classroom with medical math, medical vocabulary, and soft skills. Prepare yourself to enter the medical classroom, an entry level job in the medical field, or just find out about basic medical information. Classes start Monday, March 3, 2019, at 6 p.m. – register today!
• English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) – Learn basic English skills, study for your citizenship exam, or create a resume and cover letter for employment with our skilled instructors. Classes available in Kent.
