Frank J. Lesko, Sr., 89, of Nelson Twp., OH, passed away at the UH Ahuja Medical Center in Beachwood, OH, on Sunday, November 23, 2025, of complications of lymphoma. He was born November 24, 1935, in Boston, OH, to the late Emery and Anna (Hricison) Lesko.

Frank graduated from Twinsburg High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army which brought him to travel through the states and especially Germany. He was never not working. He did “30 years and out” for Ford Motor Company at the Walton Hill Stamping Plant. He and his wife Carol spent many years growing and operating a farm stand featuring fall pumpkins, corn and gourds. They ran an Amish taxi-driving business where they shared many memories and dear friends.

Frank had boundless energy and curiosity. He had a lifelong love of automobiles. He was forever fixing cars and tractors and absolutely loved going to car and tractor shows. He always had a camera ready to document special events. As a gardener, he turned plain fields into vibrant natural landscapes full of life.  He was always attuned to his Slovak heritage. Frank always kept his Catholic faith close and was proud to serve the church as a councilman and volunteer for church picnics.  He was a quiet man of integrity who was never showy. Most of all, he loved “visiting” with family and friends and being there for special days. They were never far from his heart, especially his children, granddaughter, and nieces and nephews.

He had a lifelong love of ice cream.

Frank will be deeply missed by his wife, Carol (Burek) Lesko, with whom he was blessed to share over 53 years of marriage; children, Carrie Lesko, Frank (Andrea) Lesko, Jr; granddaughter Lucy, as well as many nieces and nephews.
