Either way, Geauga Park District’s 2025 Family Fun Giveaway is for you, because this year’s grand prizes will reward two lucky winners with a 2026 reservation of Veterans Legacy Woods’ Tribute Lodge plus $750 in catering of their choice and a 40-piece dessert tray courtesy of co-presenter D.S. Cakes & Sweet Café in Newbury!
Get entered to win when you sign up for personalized email updates from the parks at bit.ly/gpdgiveaway2025 now through September 2 at 10 AM. Official rules can also be found there and at The West Woods Nature Center and Big Creek Park’s front desks.

Veterans Legacy Woods’ Tribute Lodge is a fantastic place to host a gathering of family or friends — from Freedom Hall and its huge max capacity of 168 to The Club downstairs holding a more intimate 32. Because 2026 facility reservations open for Geauga County residents this year on October 1 at 8 AM (and for out-of-county residents on November 3 at 10 AM), both lucky winners of this year’s giveaway will be able to “skip the line” to hold Tribute Lodge in 2026.
“We’re especially excited to feature the great reservable spaces of Veterans Legacy Woods, which have gotten popular in recent years, making reservations sometimes harder to come by,” Oros said. “This year’s winners will be able to not only get Tribute Lodge before the general public gets access on October 1, but also enjoy $750 worth of catering to make that event special, as well as a delicious dessert tray from our friends at D.S.
