Nelson – Excitement Tour hosts road trip rallies and driving events out of Michigan —  these events are not all out competition but friendly competition for bragging rights and prizes.  In each rally destination Excitement Tours will choose a small local children’s charity to raise money for. Their next event, TrackMack is being held at Nelson Ledges Road Course in Garrettsville Ohio on September 3rd and 4th.

On September 3rd,  Road and Track Magazine will be at Nelson Ledges Road Course with a new Ford RS to run on the track against our cars and do testing.

Sunday  the 4th is a very special day,  from 11am-4pm we will be hosting our “Ride With a Cop for Shop With a Cop” charity that raises money so police officers can take kids shopping for presents durring the holidays the entire event is free to anyone who wants to attend.

There will be some special vehicles expected to be a part of Sunday’s “Ride with a Cop” kids day & Fundraiser.  Most of these vehicles will be providing parade laps on the track.

Over twenty-five of the  Excitement Tour participantswill be sports cars including Lotus, Corvette Zo6, BMW M5 Dinan and many more.

On display will be the Blue Lives Matter BMW tribute vehicle that has been driven across many states collecting Police Officers signatures on the hood.  Soon the hood will be auctioned of for charity.

There will be a US Navy G8 tribute vehicle that was customized to honor the owner’s grandfather.  Later this year he will be driving it from Detroit to California stopping along the way to personally thank as many veterans as he can.

Police, EMS, Fire and Military Vehicles (current and historic) from Garrettsville, Hiram and surrounding agencies and areas will be on hand. In addition, the Hiram Fire Chief has invited a LifeFlight Helicopter to be flown in and on display as long as weather cooperates and it isn’t needed for a rescue mission.

There are several police officers and veterans in the car rally including a wounded veteran whose rally package was donated to him. He had surgery earlier this year and couldn’t afford to participate and we didn’t want to leave him behind.

This is one event you won’t want to miss!
