Ernest “Pete” Charles Speicher, Jr. 73, of Windham, OH, passed away on July 4, 2024. He was born on November 12, 1950, in Johnston, PA, to the late Ernest Charles Sr. and Jean Lorraine (Horner) Speicher.
Pete was a U.S Army veteran, who proudly served his country in Vietnam. He continued service to his country and community as a member of the Windham American Legion Post #674.
Pete loved playing golf, bowling and watching sports and westerns.
For Pete, family was everything and he thoroughly enjoyed family time. His legacy lives on as his mission was to ensure his children and grandchildren knew they were loved and taken care of.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Jason (Keri) Speicher and Mandy (Stephen) Morgan; grandchildren, Kayse, Kalena, Christopher, MacKenzie, Baylee, and Jackson; sister, Debbie (Mike) Faiella; niece, Cassandra, and many friends.
Pete was preceded in death by his parents and his infant daughter, Jennifer.
Friends were invited to join his family for visitation on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. A funeral service was held at the funeral home on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 11:00 am., with Pastor Sandi Greenberg officiating. Pete was then buried at Windham Township Cemetery with military honors.
