Older adults who love to sing will find a welcoming community of fellow singers when the Encore Chorale of Northeast Ohio launches its new season of musical joy in September 2024. The ensemble is a local chapter of Encore Creativity for Older Adults, a nonprofit organization that creates meaningful arts experiences supporting lifelong learning, wellness, and fun for all older adults. No auditions or prior experience with singing is required. The Encore Chorale of Northeast Ohio is eager to welcome new and returning singers to its new season of singing starting September 4. The ensemble, led by local conductor Joshua Konow, meets for 90 minutes once per week on Wednesdays from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM at Federated Church, 76 Bell Street, Chagrin Falls, OH 44022. The 15-week season will culminate with a performance that is free and open to the public. Singers of all experience levels are welcome to join its weekly rehearsals; no prior experience with singing is required to join an Encore ensemble.

Singers who love traditional choral music will find a new home with the Encore Chorale of Northeast Ohio this season, with repertoire that brings singers together in four-part harmony with vibrant reminders of the power of music to create community. Within each weekly rehearsal is the chance for singers to create meaningful connections with other music lovers.
The new semester of the Encore Chorale of Northeast Ohio begins September 4, 2024 and runs through mid-December. Registration for the program is $190 and includes all materials, including sheet music, a rehearsal CD highlighting the singer’s voice part, and access to synchronous and recorded versions of online rehearsals.
