Earn your GED through the ASPIRE Program

631

Maplewood Career Center’s Aspire Program and the Adult Education Department have options for you to complete your high school diploma.

The Aspire Program offers GED prep classes in the morning, afternoon, evening, or online to fit your schedule. We currently have classes at the Kent Library, Ohio Means Jobs, Opportunity Resource Center, or Maplewood Career Center all located in Ravenna. There is also a GED site at the Streetsboro Comfort Inn. The Aspire program enrolls students that are 16 and older.

Don’t forget about Ohio Options with the Adult Diploma Program. It’s a different way for you to pursue your high school diploma. Instead of the GED, a student 18 or older takes the ACT WorkKeys assessment in applied math, graphic literacy, and workplace documents along with achieving a certification. Certifications include: Dental Assisting, Medical Billing & Coding, Phlebotomy, or Modular Welding. Not only do you achieve your high school diploma through the State of Ohio, but you also earn a certification and are ready to start a new career. We also offer adult students Placement Services by helping with resume creation and guiding individuals on applying for employment.

If you are interested in signing up GED or the Adult Diploma Program, please call (330) 235-0020 to schedule your orientation and start your educational journey today.
