Doris J. Marshall, 86, of Painesville, formerly of Garrettsville, went home to her Lord and Savior on June 11, 2023. She was born in Elizabeth, PA, on January 4, 1937, to the late Frank and Annie (Davis) Mains.
She accomplished loving, raising and supporting a great family. Doris was a well-known animal lover and could never pass up the opportunity to make a new furry friend. She enjoyed spending time with and reaching out to family and friends, reminiscing, being outdoors, camping, and completing word searches.
Doris will be deeply missed by her loving children, Diana (Edward) Naymick, Debra Koeser, Larry Marshall, Lee Marshall, and Lance Marshall; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; brother George Mains, her sister Lois Logan, sister-in-law, Judy Marshall, and many nephews, nieces, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leslie B. Marshall, Jr; daughter, Darby Knechtl, and siblings, Frankie Mains Jr., Mildred Styche, Libby Faust, Evelyn Hyzy, and William Mains.
A visitation was held on Saturday, June 17, 2023, 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M., at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. A funeral service began at the funeral home at 1:00 P.M. Doris was taken to Overlook Cemetery, in Burton, where she was lovingly reunited with her beloved, Leslie.
