Each month, visitors can stop by the Aurora Library and pick up a carefully curated surprise book box. Inside, participants will find a book based on that month’s theme, along with a selection of fun, themed goodies. Each box is unique, so every participant will receive a different book, making the experience personal and intriguing. Whether you’re into mysteries, historical fiction, or something more whimsical, the contents of the box are sure to surprise and delight.
But that’s not all! The library’s Surprise Book Box program also offers an interactive component—an invitation to join the library’s monthly book club. Participants are encouraged to return after they’ve finished reading their surprise book to discuss their thoughts with fellow book lovers. It’s a fantastic way to engage with others in the community, share insights, and discover new perspectives on what you’ve read. Even if the book isn’t one you would have normally picked up, this is an opportunity to broaden your reading horizons in a fun and communal way.
