Denny Herr passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018. Denny was born on November 5, 1953 in Ravenna, OH. Denny was a long time Mantua resident. Denny attended Cardinal school district in Middlefield until 7th grade. He graduated from Crestwood in 1972.
Denny was the owner/operator of Denny Herr Well Drilling since 1972. On February 12, 1983 he married Kathy (Smosarski) Herr who survives him. He is also survived by his sons Lonnie(Jessica) Herr of Shalersville and Todd Herr and granddaughter Kodie Herr of Mantua. His mother Marilyn (Pixie) Atwood of Huntsburg, OH and his father Max Herr, formerly of Shalersville, now of Kentucky. Three brothers, Terry (Joanne) Herr of Hiram Rapids; Kyle Herr of Middlefield; Alan (Flory) Atwood of Savannah, GA. Two sisters, Rhnee (Mike) Kincaid of San Antonio, TX; Lori Atwood (Matt Freiling) of East Claridon, OH.
A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 2 pm – 9 pm at the Mantua Knight of Columbus (Sentinel Hall) 11846 SR 44, Mantua, OH.
In lieu of flowers, Denny would like donations to the Portage County APL.
