Denise Bly, 61, of Garrettsville, Ohio, previously of Newbury, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, due to complications from Covid 19. She was born December 2, 1960, in Cleveland, OH to William and Mary (Dowling) Williams.
She was best known for writing articles for The Weekly Villager newspaper and helping plan Garrettsville Idol for Garrettsville Summerfest.
Denise will be deeply missed by her husband, Doug, with whom she was blessed to share 41 years of marriage; children, Stephen Bly, Adam (Wanda) Bly, Andrew Bly, Mariah (Joshua) Schaffer, and Elisha Bly; grandchildren, Chase Bly and Emily Masters; mother, Mary, and siblings, Pat Williams, Laura Alberta, and Michelle (Albert) Dorazio.
She was preceded in death by her father, William R. Williams.
Visitation to honor Denise was held on Sunday, December 19, 2021, from 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. A funeral service followed the visitation.
