The Western Reserve Daylily Society (WRDS) will be selling modern hybrid daylilies at the Chesterland Historical Village Flea Market, corner of Caves and Mayfield Rd., on August 18, 8AM-3PM.
WRDS will be featuring registered daylilies released by nationally known hybridizers located in Northeast Ohio including: Roy Woodhall, Moldovan Gardens, Avon Lake, OH; Gerda Brooker, Victorian Gardens, Strongsville, OH; and Curt Hanson, Crintonic Gardens, Gates Mills, OH. Our list of plants available for sale includes many other nationally-known hybridizer’s as well as a selection of plants from international hybridizer, Les Holton, in Toowoomba, Australia. Daylilies are the perfect plant to grow in Northeast Ohio. They are drought resistant, almost pest and insect free, and are very adaptable to various soil and light conditions.
Due to the tremendous response at our 2011 sale, we will have additional space and more plants available this year! Lots of spectacular colors, patterns, and forms are included on our list of more than 200 different affordably priced modern registered cultivars. Daylily experts will be on hand to answer all of your questions about plant care, propagation, and daylily garden design. Plant daylilies now for lots of bloom in your garden next year.
