The band will compete with some of the finest bands from Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, New York and West Virginia. Bands of America (BOA) marching band championships are the premier events for marching band in the nation.

Last Saturday the band traveled to the OMEA Adjudicated Event at Louisville High School where they earned 3rd Place, Best Auxiliary, and Best Percussion in Class A.

This year the 2022 Scarlet Guard is presenting a program titled “SMILE”, that takes the audience on a journey of the different types of Smiles we all experience in our life. The show features soloists: Abigail Jordan, Trenton Petrie, Destiny Verbic, and Grant Wysong. The band is under the field leadership of junior Drum Majors Hannah Bainey & Josh Delaney and Director Angela Adkins.
