Newton Falls – The Newton Falls Crescendo Club is please to announce the winner of this year’s Scholarship. Band Senior Taylor Phelps was selected by the Scholarship Committee to receive the $500 award. Taylor will be attending Kent State next year to study Zoology. Congratulations!
We would also like to thank all of the parents who helped with this year’s reception following the final band concert, and for all of their other efforts during the 2012-13 year working the concession stand, chaperoning, marching in the parades, fundraising, publicity, helping with uniforms, towing our trailer, and so much more! We could not have done it without you!
Lastly, the Crescendo Club would also like to thank Amvets Post 112 of Newton Falls for their recent donation. Contributions such as theirs help us support the excellent efforts of our young musicians, and we are very grateful. The band’s last event of the year will be marching during the Fourth of July Parade in Newton Falls. We hope to see you there!”
