The Newton Falls Area Commerce Association is a nonprofit organization within the State of Ohio. It is comprised of local businesses and organizations that support and promote businesses and the community, with emphasis on the economic, civil, cultural, industrial, commercial and educational interests of our area. We are nonpartisan, nonsectarian and apolitical.
The NFACA is a member of the Northern Ohio Area Chamber of Commerce (NOACC, noacc.org). This membership includes many benefits for businesses, including: Group Health Insurance, Credit Card Processing, Office Supplies & Services, Payroll Processing, and more.
The NFACA has been involved in our community, sponsoring vendor events, helping to advertise businesses, and encouraging networking between members. Every year we give scholarships to high school seniors, and every December give funds to nonprofit organizaitons. Our main community event is the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony during the first week of December. This year our emphasis will be creating a website, and finding ways to make our community aware of what our members have to offer.
It is now the time of year for our Membership Renewal and New Membership Drive. Applications have been sent to current members, and are due by April 15. Businesses for Resident Membership must be within a 20 mile radius, and the cost is $70 year. Outside of this radius are Nonresident Members at a cost of $85 year. Individuals can also be members, at a cost of $70 year. Nonprofit and Public Funded Memberships are no charge.
The NFACA Building is located at 17 E. Broad St. Our meetings are usually the 2nd Tuesday at 8:00am, and the 4th Tuesday at 6:00pm.
