Parkman 55+ Seniors
First Thursday of Month
Please join area seniors over 55 for a monthly gathering on the first Thursday at the Parkman Community Center at 11:30 am. The gathering includes a pot luck lunch, socializing and various programs such as entertainment, informational lectures, and field trips. Also, open to non-Geauga County residents.
Loaves and Fishes Community Meal

Free meal open to all residents in Mantua,Hiram,Garrettsville and surrounding areas. Anyone who needs to stretch their food dollars or even if you just love a homemade meal. Shalersville Historical Society Meetings
March 6
The Shalersville Historical Society monthly meeting day and time has been changed for the month of March. The meetings will be held the first Sunday of the month from 3-5 PM at the museum. The museum will have an Open House from 2-5 PM. Starting in April the meeting day will revert to the first Thursday of the month at 7 PM. Sunshine Chili Sale

Portage Faith Adult Sunday School Class will be selling “Sunshine Chili” in a drive thru Sunday March 6th from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Quarts $7.00 and pints $3.50. Proceeds from the sale go to the Crestwood Middle School Sunshine Fund, which provides financial assistance to students and their families. Chili will be sold from the lower level kitchen door. Friendly Squares March square dance

The Friendly Squares will host their monthly square dance, Saturday, March 12th, from 7:30 to 10:00 p.m. at the Niles SCOPE Center, 14 E. State St., Niles, Ohio. Neil Harner will be the caller and Frankie Hammond will be cuing line dances. This will be a High/Low dance with alternating tips for new dancers currently taking lessons and tips for more experienced dancers. St. Patrick’s Day will be the theme.
