Overeaters Anonymous Meetings

Overeaters Anonymous (a community of people who support each other in order to recover from compulsive eating and food behaviors) meets in person every Monday, except legal holidays, at 10:00AM in the parlor of the First Presbyterian Church of Warren, 256 Mahoning Av NW, Warren, OH 44483. Farmington Senior Center Breakfasts
Mondays
The Senior Center is open for breakfast Mondays from 7a-Noon. A full menu is offered from scrambled eggs to Belgian waffles. Lunches are served T-TH from 11a-1p only $5-plate includes homemade soup or salad, entrée, dessert and beverage. Menu for the week is posted on Facebook, or just call 330-889-2733.

Young At Heart Meetings

Parkman 55+ Seniors
First Thursday of Month
Please join area seniors over 55 for a monthly gathering on the first Thursday at the Parkman Community Center at 11:30 am. With the exception of an occasional field trip, the gathering includes a pot luck lunch and socializing and various programs such as entertainment, informational lectures and Bingo. Also open to non-Geauga County residents. For questions or for monthly schedule, call (440) 632-5461. All non-Geauga residents are welcome.

Loaves and Fishes Community Meal

A free meal is open to all residents in Mantua, Garrettsville, Hiram, and surrounding areas. Anyone who needs to stretch their food dollars, or enjoys a homemade meal, is cordially invited to come eat and enjoy some fellowship. The meal is from 5 – 6:30pm, the Last Thursday of each month January through October at Mantua Center Christian Church, 4118 State Route 82 in Mantua Township.

Mantua Farmers Market
Through – Sept 23
The Mantua Farmers Market will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 10827 North Main Street, Mantua, beginning July 15. The hours are 9 am to 1 pm. The Market runs through September 23. There will be a variety of vendors. Anyone interested in becoming a vendor please call Diane Lottig 330-274-2868. Vendor fees are $5 a market. Stop in and enjoy.

Game Show
July 21-23; 28 & 29
The Garrettsville Curtains up Theatre is proud to present “Game Show”, a comedy by Lew Riley with special permission from The Dramatic Publishing Company. Directed by Justin Steck. July 21, 22, 28 and 29th at 7pm and July 23 at 2pm. Doors open 30 minutes prior to curtain.Tickets are available at the door:Adults $10.00 and seniors and children under 12 $8.00.In the Iva Walker, Auditorium in the James A. Garfield Middle School. Bring the whole family for this comedy which goes behind the scenes and then in front of the cameras as it follows five fascinating contestants.

God Provides A Meal
July 28
Windham United Methodist Church will be having their monthly free dinner on July 28, 2023. Menu is Pulled pork, tater tots, veggies and dip, and jello. There is no charge for the meal. PICK UP ONLY IS FROM 4 – 5 PM at the back door of the church. Church address is 9051 N. Main St., Windham, Ohio 44288. Please call 330-697-3288 to request your meal. Meals must be reserved ahead of time.

Brittany Myers Memorial Poker Run
