Overeaters Anonymous (a community of people who support each other in order to recover from compulsive eating and food behaviors) meets in person every Monday, except legal holidays, at 10:00AM in the parlor of the First Presbyterian Church of Warren, 256 Mahoning Av NW, Warren, OH 44483. Farmington Senior Center Breakfasts

The Senior Center is open for breakfast Mondays from 7a-Noon. A full menu is offered from scrambled eggs to Belgian Waffles. Parkman 55+ Seniors
First Thursday of Month
Please join area seniors over 55 for a monthly gathering on the first Thursday at the Parkman Community Center at 11:30 am. With the exception of an occasional field trip, the gathering includes a pot luck lunch and socializing and various programs such as entertainment, informational lectures and Bingo. Hiram Community Band Is Rebuilding!

Hiram Community Band is rebuilding! Anyone who can play a band instrument and read music is welcome, though we’re in particular need of lower instruments. Rehearsals are Monday June 5, Wednesday, June 14, and Thursday June 29, from 7-9 PM, in Frohring Hall on the Hiram College campus, with our concert at “4 on the 4th” of July. Mantua Farmers Markets Plant & Misc Sale

Pre-Season Plant and Miscellaneous Sales will held at 10827 North Main Street, Mantua, on May 27, June 3 from 9 am to 1 pm. Regular Season runs from July 15 – September 23. Hours are 9 am to 1 pm. The Markets offer a variety of items – bakery, crafts, produce, syrup, plants, yard sale treasurers. Vendor fees of $5 per date will be used to support church projects. Join us as a vendor or buyer. Free Clothing Give Away

St. Joseph Cares, an outreach ministry of St. Joseph Church (11045 St. Joseph Blvd., Mantua), will be holding a Free Clothing Giveaway for the greater Crestwood area on Saturday, June 3, from 9 a.m. to Noon. Free clothing is provided to families in need, The event is held in an upstairs classroom in the school building of St.Joseph Parish. You do not need to be a resident, there is no limit, and no questions are asked. Youth Shotgun/Trap Clinic

The Streetsboro Sportsman Association will be holding it’s annual Youth Shotgun/Trap Clinic on June 3rd at 10:00AM. Our address is 11280 Bloom Road,Garrettsville, Ohio 44231. Kids from 8-18 years old are welcome to attend along with a parent or guardian. Registration will begin at 9:30AM and the clinic will begin promptly at 10:00AM. The clinic will last until 3:00PM. Shotguns and shot shells will be provided. Just bring yoursef and have fun. Learn basic firearm safety, the functionality of a shotgun, and shoot a little trap. Those little, orange, clay birds. Mental Health First Aid Training

On Saturday, June 24, 2023, from 9am-4pm, Celebration Lutheran Church in Chardon will host a Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training, led by Mental Health First Aid Ohio. MHFA teaches how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. This training gives participants the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.
