Overeaters Anonymous Meetings
Mondays
Overeaters Anonymous (a community of people who support each other in order to recover from compulsive eating and food behaviors) meets in person every Monday, except legal holidays, at 10:00AM in the parlor of the First Presbyterian Church of Warren, 256 Mahoning Av NW, Warren, OH 44483. Farmington Senior Center Breakfasts

The Senior Center is open for breakfast Mondays from 7a-Noon. A full menu is offered from scrambled eggs to Belgian Waffles. Parkman 55+ Seniors
First Thursday of Month
Please join area seniors over 55 for a monthly gathering on the first Thursday at the Parkman Community Center at 11:30 am. With the exception of an occasional field trip, the gathering includes a pot luck lunch and socializing and various programs such as entertainment, informational lectures and Bingo. Also open to non-Geauga County residents. For questions or for monthly schedule, call (440) 632-5461. All non-Geauga residents are welcome.

Hiram Community Band Is Rebuilding!

Hiram Community Band is rebuilding! Anyone who can play a band instrument and read music is welcome, though we’re in particular need of lower instruments. Rehearsals are Monday June 5, Wednesday, June 14, and Thursday June 29, from 7-9 PM, in Frohring Hall on the Hiram College campus, with our concert at “4 on the 4th” of July. First Congregational Church UCC in Rootstown is having our last fund-raiser drive-thru dinner for the season on Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 4 to 6 pm. Mantua Farmers Markets Plant & Misc Sale

Pre-Season Plant and Miscellaneous Sales will held at 10827 North Main Street, Mantua, on May 20, May 27, June 3 from 9 am to 1 pm. Regular Season runs from July 15 – September 23. Hours are 9 am to 1 pm. The Markets offer a variety of items – bakery, crafts, produce, syrup, plants, yard sale treasurers. Vendor fees of $5 per date will be used to support church projects. Women on Target Firearm Clinic

The Streetsboro Sportsman Association will be hosting a ladies clinic, “Women on Target”, an annual event for ladies only teaching safety and the correct methods to handle a firearm. Lunch will be provided and there is no charge. Registration is at 9:30AM and the clinic starts promptly @ 10:00AM. Class will last until 3:00PM. Parkman 55+ Bus Trip

Parkman 55+ invites area adults to help pack the bus by joining us Thursday, July 6 to attend Sugarcreek’s Ohio Star Theater musical titled “Dear Soldier Boy”. The day trip includes motor coach transportation, musical and lunch at Dutch Valley Restaurant. The cost is $92 per person.
