Time for Tots

Time for Tots held the 2nd Wednesday of each month (Sept 14, 2022 – May 10, 2023) from 10 – 11 a.m. at Maplewood Christian Church 7300 State Route 88 in Ravenna. Come experience a safe indoor environment where children ages 2 – 5 can play, craft, enjoy music and burn energy (adults stay for fun, siblings welcome). Parkman 55+ Seniors
First Thursday of Month
Please join area seniors over 55 for a monthly gathering on the first Thursday at the Parkman Community Center at 11:30 am. With the exception of an occasional field trip, the gathering includes a pot luck lunch and socializing and various programs such as entertainment, informational lectures and Bingo. Free Community Meals at St. Joseph Church in Mantua will return on Saturday, January 21, at 6 p.m. in Hughes Hall (following the 5 p.m. Mass). The meals are designed to ease the burden of short resources and isolation. If you know of anyone who could benefit from a night of fellowship and good food, send them our way. Free Clothing Giveaway Pop-Up Event

Due to a surplus of winter clothing a Free Clothing Giveaway Pop-Up Event will be held on Saturday, January 21st, from 9 a.m. until Noon, at St. Joseph Church (upstairs classroom of the school building). You do not need to be a resident or sign up, there is no limit, and no questions will be asked. No clothing donations will be accepted at this time. Diaper donations, size 5, 6 or 7, are appreciated as well as large, black trash bags with ties. Please contact St. Joseph’s Parish Office (330-274-2253) with questions or to volunteer.
