Second Blessings Thrift Shop Extended Hours
The Renaissance Family Center now has extended hours 9005 Wilverne Drive, Windham. Monday-Friday 10 am – 6 pm and Saturday 9 am – 5 pm. Second Blessings hours are Monday-Friday 10am – 4 pm. We have a great selection of gently used furniture, antiques, vintage dishes and many clean, gently used household items. Every week we have a different category of items at 50% off. We still have the “fill a shopping cart” from our over flows rooms $20.00. We have many new items in our Second Blessings Thrift Shoppe so start your Christmas shopping early!

Time for Tots held the 2nd Wednesday of each month (Sept 14, 2022 – May 10, 2023) from 10 – 11 a.m. at Maplewood Christian Church 7300 State Route 88 in Ravenna. Come experience a safe indoor environment where children ages 2 – 5 can play, craft, enjoy music and burn energy (adults stay for fun, siblings welcome). Parkman 55+ Seniors
First Thursday of Month
Please join area seniors over 55 for a monthly gathering on the first Thursday at the Parkman Community Center at 11:30 am. With the exception of an occasional field trip, the gathering includes a pot luck lunch and socializing and various programs such as entertainment, informational lectures and Bingo. Christmas Potluck

The Shalersville Historical Society’s annual potluck has a new day and time; it will be held Sunday December 4 at 2 PM. Please bring your favorite dish to pass; beverages, plates & silverware will be provided. And where will our Christmas Potluck be held, you ask. Well that DEPENDS: depends on how many people are planning on attending. If the attendees number 25 or fewer, the Christmas Potluck will be held at the Society’s museum on St Rt 44. If a larger number of people plan on attending, the potluck will be held at the Town Hall. Historical Society Holiday Party

Freedom Township Historical Society’s Holiday Party will be Tuesday, December 13 at 7 PM at the Drakesburg School # 2, 7276 St Rt 303. This program is open to our members and the public. Our program will consist of members telling, sharing, or showing a favorite memory from their past Christmases. Light refreshments will be served. You will be able to see first hand all the improvements to this almost 150 year old building and to view our mini one room school. What an opportunity! – good fellowship, good food, and a good meeting place.
