Christian group launches weekly discussion series at Garrettsville Cinema

125

In a world that often feels increasingly divided and chaotic, engaging in meaningful conversations about the issues that matter can feel more important than ever. Starting October 14, a weekly discussion series titled “Looking Up: Why Your Worldview Matters,” will offer a space for people to explore challenging topics such as politics, religion, and current events through a Christian Biblical perspective.

Organizers of the event believe that many individuals may be unaware of how their worldview shapes their understanding of today’s tumultuous world. They argue that without a foundation in Biblical teachings, people are more likely to be misled by modern societal trends and false narratives.

The discussion series, free and open to all, invites the community to participate in respectful conversations on tough topics that are often avoided in everyday discourse. Sessions will take place every Monday from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Garrettsville Cinema, where attendees can explore whether today’s challenges represent simply hard times or something more profound, like the end times.

Concessions will be available for purchase, with proceeds supporting the Garrettsville Cinema, which has generously offered its venue for free to host these important discussions.

For more information or to ask questions, call 330-646-2332. This series provides an opportunity for those seeking to engage with others in thoughtful, faith-centered conversations about the world today. All are welcome.
