Our dear sister Cherie went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 31, 2018 at her home in Warren, OH. She was born to Richard and Constance Kramer on August 23, 1958.
A graduate of Windham High School in 1971, she attended Hiram College and Youngstown University for social work. She had a great faith in God, quick wit and was a “people person”. In earlier years she had a wallpaper and painting business. She loved gardening and reading.
She will be greatly missed by her sons Timothy and Kenneth Miller, her sisters Cathleen (Richard) Bamber of Arizona; Christine (Fred) Bierkhart of Garrettsville; Chloe Kim (Christopher) Hedge or Ravenna; Jacqueline (W. Edward) Zwilling of Streetsboro and brother Steven (Carol) Kramer of Hiram; four grandchildren, seven nieces and eight nephews. Cherie was preceded in death by her parents, sister Constance Olson and son Trever Thomas.
Per Cherie’s request, cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Life service on February 4, 2019 at the Windham Congregational United Church of Christ. Calling hours are 4 to 6 p.m. with the funeral at 6 pm., Reverend Jody Hill officiating. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations for funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.
