Ravenna – The Portage County Senior Center is open to all Portage County Seniors aged 60 and up and offers an array of fun and educational events. On any given day, you can enjoy Tai Chi, chair exercise classes, Wii Bowling, Corn Hole, Chair Massage, and of course Bingo.

Seniors from all points of Portage County come together to celebrate their birthdays, holiday parties, or just for a friendly game of dice, cards dominos, or one of the many “Lunch & Learn” events. They also have an art room, exercise room, and serve meals daily.

The Portage County Senior Center will be holding a big Halloween Bash on October 31st and all seniors are welcome. Costumes are encouraged, but not required. The fun starts at 10a.m. with a fun game of bingo, followed by awards for costumes. Lunch will follow with a menu of pizza, salad and dessert. There is no cost for the event, but sign-up is required and can be done by calling 330-297-3456 or stop by the center at 705 Oakwood St. in Ravenna to pick up a schedule of activities.

For more information on any events or activities, please stop by at 705 Oakwood St. in Ravenna, or you may reach them at 330-297-3456.
