Carolyn F. Dean, 74, of Nelson Township, went home to her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 30, 2023. She was born in Clarksville, TN, to the late Olie and Gertrude (nee Bowers) Hembree.
She worked at Deluxe Cleaners for over 20 years. Carolyn enjoyed sitting on her porch and watching the birds, scrolling on TikTok, and spending time with her family.
Carolyn will be deeply missed by her daughters, Carol Dean, Cindy (Ron) Yearyean, and Beverly (Paul) Tubre; grandchildren, Kim (Jason) Reeder, Krista Dean, Travis (Amber) Culver, Samantha Tubre, Jimmy (Ashleigh) Tubre, Matthew Tubre, Emily Yearyean, and Daisy Yearyean; 17 great grandchildren; siblings, Henry Hembree, Barry (Darlene) Hembree, and Gail Belknap, as well as many nephews, nieces, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Larry W. Dean.
A visitation honoring Carolyn was held on Friday, February 3, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M., at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. A funeral service began at the funeral home at 1:00 P.M. Carolyn was taken to Harrington Cemetery in Nelson Township, where she was laid to rest by her beloved Larry.
