The Sierra Club invites you to join them at Hiram College on Tuesday, March 26th from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. in Room 123 in Gerstacker Hall to view the film, “Carbon Nation”. The event is free and open to the public–all local residents, Hiram College students, staff and faculty. There will be a discussion period following the screening.
“Carbon Nation” is a climate change solutions movie that doesn’t even care if you believe in climate change. It has received positive reviews from the Los Angeles Times, Bloomberg News, The Huffington Post, the Austin Chronicle, the Evangelical Environmental Network, among others. It’s a documentary that by-passes politics and finger-pointing to focus on enterprising individuals–from a wind farmer to a solar panel retrofitter–who are devising business-minded ways to avert the looming climate crisis.
Wildfires, super storms, droughts and record temperatures all point to the realization that 2013 must be the year that our leaders take action to address climate disruption.
