This month’s selected title is the New York Times bestseller Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens. One by one Kya’s family abandons her, leaving an uneducated 10-year-old in a dilapidated North Carolina wetland shack. Kya becomes the “marsh girl” as nature teaches Kya survival and valuable life lessons. Copies of the book are available at the reference desk.
