Betty Jean Cigany, 65, of Middlefield, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023. She was born May 21, 1958, in Cleveland, to the late Samuel H. and Pearl (Adkins) Marcum.
She was a phlebotomist that retired from UH Portage Medical Center. Betty was a member of the Streetsboro American Legion #685 Auxillary; fundraising for veterans and people in need were things that Betty had a passion for. She enjoyed knitting and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Betty will be deeply missed by her son, Christopher (Lori) Cigany; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Hollyfield, Travis Hollyfield, Izaac Cigany, and Derek Cigany; sister, Barbara (Patrick) Sarver, and many nephews, nieces, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Samantha Cigany.

A funeral service will begin at the funeral home at 1:00 pm, with Pastor David Gray officiating. Betty will then be taken to Park Cemetery in Garrettsville, where she will be lovingly laid to rest.
