Ravenna’s 4th Annual Chalk Fest will take place on Saturday, September 12th (Sept 13th rain date) from noon- 3pm. The sidewalks of downtown Ravenna will become a colorful canvas created by artists. Painters of ALL ages will be working to create their incredible works of art.
Bring your family and friends to create art in the company of others while social distancing. Sidewalk painters are assigned a square on a first-come, first-serve basis. A basic chalk kit and blending materials are provided. We recommend bringing knee-pads, sunscreen, and a hat. All artwork must be suitable for public viewing. No words or symbols intended as advertising may appear within the image: however, you may sign your name. If your square is sponsored, the sponsor’s name will appear above the space.
Sidewalk artists agree that work done in conjunction with this festival may be reproduced by photograph or video and used by the Ravenna Parks and Recreation Department for promotional purposes. Artists need to check in before 12:30pm. Judging begins at 2:30pm. CASH PRIZES for both adult and children categories.
