Austin Peter Bowman, 29, of Garrettsville, OH, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024. He was born July 9, 1995, in Cleveland, OH, to Peter and Patricia (nee Crile) Bowman.
He was proud to call himself a graduate of James A. Garfield High School. Austin went on to earn a degree in Computer Sciences from Kent State University. He worked for many years at Guild Associates in Dublin, OH. Austin was blessed to work remotely while pursuing his passion, which was nature. He was currently touring America to visit all the national parks. Austin was an avid writer, whether he was writing in his journals or writing poetry. He was a smart, sensitive man who will always be remembered for his intelligence, his sensitivity, and his love of trees.
Austin will be deeply missed by his parents, Patricia “Patti” (Tim Tolodzieski) Bowman and Peter (Marnie Moss) Bowman; siblings, Matthew (Alicia) Tolodzieski, Nicholas (Ashley) Bowman, and Francesca (Dillon Dixon) Bowman; nephew and niece, Miles Tolodzieski and Talulah Tolodzieski; maternal grandparents, Bill and Sharon Crile, as well as many aunts and uncles, extended family, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Allen and Angela Bowman.
Please join the family for a visitation Friday, November 22, 2024, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. A funeral service will begin at the funeral home at 7:00 p.m., with Pastor Blake Martzowka officiating.
