Aurora – Home Instead Senior Care has been recognized for the fourth year in a row as a winner of The Business Growth Award, presented by Smart Business and Cascade Capital Corporation. This award was created in recognition of the existing and increasingly significant role area small companies play towards the continuing economic growth and vitality of our local area. It honors small businesses located in Summit, Medina, Portage, Wayne, Ashland, Stark and Holmes counties that have prominently increased sales and/or employment over the past five years. Small business owners today create the vast majority of new job opportunities across the United States, and through the combined sale of their goods and services, account for over 50% of the Gross Domestic Product of the United States as well

The Business Growth Awards event was held at The John S. Knight Center in Akron on Thursday October 4, 2012.

Home Instead Senior Care joins several other companies including PartSource, InfoCision Management Corporation, and Shearer’s Foods in receiving this noteworthy accomplishment. “We are very pleased to be recognized,” says Therese Glorioso, RN, BSN, president of the company’s Portage County office. “The dedication our CAREGivers have to our seniors and understanding the needs of families on a personal level are all part of why we’ve received this award. We’re proud to be considered one of the area’s top performers.”
