Area Students Participate in Skill USA Competition

James A. Garfield students that recently participated at the SkillsUSA Regional competition included Joshua McCullough, Travis Synnestvedt, Gillian Grantz and Karsyn Reider. 

Travis took 1st place in the Electrical Motor Controls and will be going to the Skills USA State  Competition in Columbus on April 16th & 17th.

Karysn Reider took 3rd place in the Regionals Welding.

Congratulations to the Windham students who attend Maplewood Career Center for placing at the local Skills USA Competition! These students will now advance to compete at the state level on April 16 and April 17.  The Skills USA Competitions are competitive events showcasing the best career and technical education students. The following students placed: Senior Cody Hostetler: First place in Masonry. Senior Rose McWilliams: First place in Graphic Communications. Junior Cheyenne Wallace:  Third place in Auto Collision Technology  Good luck in April! We are extremely proud of your accomplishments!
