Angermeier Earns Eagle Scout Award

Kyle Angermeier, a member of Boy Scouts Troop 4062 of Garrettsville, Ohio, recently earned the highest honor in Boy Scouts, the Eagle Scout Award. Only 6 percent of all Boy Scouts attain this honor.
angermeierFor his project, he designed, raised the funds, and led the installation team placing  two business signs for the Community EMS District of Garrettsville. Kyle drew up the plans for the sign including a list of materials, oversaw all the construction, kept the project on budget, managed a group of volunteers and saw it through to its completion.

Kyle would like to thank all those who graciously donated time, money, materials, food and hard work to complete this project.

Kyle Angermeier is the son of Bill and Jackie Angermeier of Freedom Township. Kyle’s brother, Chad is also working towards the Eagle Scout rank.

In his time with Troop 4062, Kyle has served in various leadership roles, such as Assistant Patrol Leader, and eagerly participated in camping and outdoor activities. Additionally, he has been involved in high school soccer, cross country and track. Currently in his senior year at James A. Garfield High School, Kyle plans to attend college in the fall.

The new Eagle Scout would like to thank his Scoutmaster Doug Lyons, Assistant Scoutmaster Scott Russell and his parents, for helping him on his trail to Eagle.

Kyle reached his goal of Eagle on December 19th, 2013 and received his Eagle badge during a Court of Honor ceremony on February 16th at St. Ambrose Church in Garrettsville.
