Alta Head Start is hosting a Student Recruitment Event on Friday November 15, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at their soon to be open location at 261 Monroe St., NW, Warren, Ohio.
This recruitment event will be held on-site at their newly-renovated space, offering children and families a first glance at the improvements Alta Care Group has made, as well as giving families the opportunity to meet with teachers and staff to learn about the benefits of attending Head Start.
“Alta Head Start and Early Head Start is more than just a preschool. On top of providing age-appropriate education and learning opportunities, we work closely with families to give them all the tools they need to help them succeed in their children’s education,” says Alta Head Start Executive Director, Lori Stellmar.
“Families that choose to send their children to Alta Head Start know that we have their entire family’s best interest at heart. From transportation, meals and even health, dental and vision checkups, we offer these all free to eligible families.”
Families can expect to be part of fun games, enjoy refreshments and be greeted with appearances by Disney characters and Alta’s own mascot, Buddy. No registration is required to attend the event.
If families can’t attend the event in-person, they can still apply at www.AltaEnroll.com.
In August, through the Designation Renewal System (DRS), Alta Care Group was named as the agency to provide services for Head Start and Early Head Start in Trumbull County, after almost a decade of experience running Head Start Programs in Mahoning County. Since then, Alta has been working to hire new staff, as well as planning recruitment events for children and families.
