Sunday, May 19th the Garrettsville Idol contestant field was whittled down by half in a tight, talented competition from 45 contestants to 22 vying to become the next Garrettsville Idol. The judges had a very tough job deciding who would earn the honor of performing at this year’s SummerFest. This year, they had one of the most talented group of singers that they had seen in a long time making the decision a difficult one. In the end, the field was narrowed to twenty-two finalist vying to become Garrettsville Idol. They will perform on the stage at Garrettsville SummerFest on June 30, 2013. Those who will compete to be the next Garrettsville Idol at SummerFest are pictured.
This year’s Summerfest will be held on June 28th-30th. The primary sponsors are Garrettsville Area Chamber of Commerce, Kepich Ford/ Main Street Grille and Brewing Company, University Hospital Geauga Medical Center, Charles Auto Family and the Weekly Villager.
