Short & Sweet and zooming along, the Garrettsville-Hiram Rotary club met online to contemplate some particulars about the upcoming RAFFLE on Friday, November 13, 2020. First of all, where to stage this fandango? Especially, where to have this, considering health and safety issues currently in force. A brand-new ticket drum will be used on this momentous occasion and there may be an audience on Facebook Live. Attendees will want to be suitably socially distanced; watchers will want to know if they won any of the prizes. And… who will draw the tickets? Nobody who holds a ticket will be eligible, so the “cutest” in the room will probably get the call.
Also in the discussion was the news that the dictionaries for the Dictionary Project have arrived and will be distributed to third graders in the Garfield District, as well as local Amish schools. Tickets for the Raffle are still available. Sponsorships are still open. Winners are still out there. See any Rotarian to get yours.
