Garrettsville – Recently the J.A. Garfield Elementary School hosted the their 3rd Annual Talent Show which showcased the talents of many students.

The first act was Bella Wright saying all the 50 states in order while jumping on a pogo stick. It was very impressive and looked very hard to do. The second act was Madi Seiler singing the song “This is Me” from the movie “The Greatest Showman”. She did a phenomenal job! Our third act was Everett Maniscalco who blew the audience away with his out-of-this-world piano performance of the Star Wars theme song. Then Kat Imara stepped on stage and told lots of funny jokes and gave the crowd an experience to remember forever. For example, “Why should you never give Elsa a balloon? She will let it go!” or, “What do you call a shell that won´t share? Shellfish!”

Next up was Gavin Bockmuller who really lived up to his name The Basketball Guy. He was on fire with his skills, especially sitting down while dribbling two basketballs at once! The 6th act was Landon Joy who played on his guitar “The Middle”. He had awesome guitar playing skills, and if I could rate it, I would give it a 10 out of 10!

Our second singing act was Emily Penney. She sang the song “Never Enough” also from the movie “The Greatest Showman”. Her singing was amazing and made the crowd go wild with their applause! Then Miss Smith and Miss Louis joined in on the fun, dancing to the “Hoedown Throwdown” and showed us their awesome moves!

The first act of the second half of the talent show, Ava Whelan, stepped on stage and gave an incredible gymnastics performance. Sunny Oliver performed next with her fabulous clogging skills, clogging to the song “Gonna Be A Good Day”. Next the Dancing Cousins danced to the “Get-Up” and did a stunning job! They were awesome on stage! The third duet, AJ Kristoff and Raena Hopper, gave us an unbelievable experience playing ’’Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’’ on the trombone and percussion.

Kat Imara joined the stage again and had us laughing with her hilarious jokes. For example “ What is Batman’s favorite fruit? A Batnana”!

Next was a very good hip-hop dancing job by Emily Knerem. She did a hip-hoppity job! Collin Cupples showed us his skilled piano ability as he played the song, “Casey Jones”. Last but not least, was Madi Vincent singing “Into the Unknown” from the movie “Frozen II”.  Her singing blew the crowd away!

A very special thank you to our MC’s, Aidan McCon and Tenley Korosec, who kept us on track and made us laugh in between performers!

Awesome job to everyone who showed us their talents in the James A Garfield Elementary Talent Show!  All of the acts made for a very enjoyable evening!
