Garfield Middle School students Robert Torres, Riley Swigonski, Lauren Whan and Haley Ihrig show off a few of the cards that were made in their class. The students in Mrs. Gilmer’s classes created handmade Valentine cards with sentiments of thanks to our troops through Operation Valentine; 150+ cards from our students were delivered to the local sponsor, Mallory- Dehaven – Carlson Funeral Home, for pickup and distribution to our military members serving overseas.
This is an annual event and we are proud to be participating again this year.
