Ronald A. Rabatin 77 years of age passed away January 16, 2019 at Longmeadow Care Center.
Ron was born to the late Andy and Wilma Rabatin on September 18, 1941. He was a lifetime Nelson Township resident. In his youth he enjoyed hunting fishing and tinkering with anything that had a motor. He was a crane operator for Penn Glass and Sand. He then owned and operated his body shop business for many years. He is survived by his companion of 43 years Bette Kester. Sister Barbara Hardesty of Columbus, brothers Gerald (Doris) Rabatin of Nelson, Dale (Lilian) Rabatin of MO. Children Angela Rabatin Mcpeak of Garrettsville, Ron (Niki) Rabatin of Nelson Twp., Mark of Mantua, mother of his children Carol Horvath Rabatin of Garrettsville. Seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren
There will be a celebration of Ron’s life Saturday January 26th at American Legion Post 674 in Windham from 1 to 5. Cremation has taken place.
