The Portage County Gardeners will have a program about growing and caring for Bonsai on Sept. 18 at 1p.m. at 5154 S. Prospect St. Ravenna, Ohio, 44266 (the garden center). Kris and Mike Shamhart are the speakers who are members of the PC Herb Society and PCGC. The Shamharts grow and care for Bonsai. No reservations or fees are required to attend the program
Also on Sept. 28, 2018 the Oak Club of PCGC is inviting all, to a program about the Monarch butterfly presented by Janet Leyman. This program will also be at 1p.m., free of charge but please call Helena at 330-673-0577 if you plan to attend.
