Downtown Mantua Revitalization’s Art on the Hill and Wine Tasting Too, an Art and Crafts Street Festival, is calling photographers of all ages to enter photos in the 2025 Photo Contest. This photo contest is the perfect place to showcase all those outstanding pictures that have been loved and need to be seen.
Any age can enter: Students Pre-K through high school, Amateur adults, and Photo Professional adults. To make judging easier, photos will be entered into one of six categories: Place/Events; People/Portraits; Landscape/Scenery; Nature (think flowers and plants and insects); Animals/Pets, and Other (sometimes a photograph just doesn’t fit any of the other categories). There are so many ways for photos to be recognized. Awards will be made for best in each division, for each category, an overall best for each category, and a Judge’s Best in Show. Photos that don’t win an award may be recognized as being an example of good photography. Festival attendees can vote for the People’s Choice award.
Photos can also be chosen to be featured in our 2026 Downtown Mantua Revitalization Calendar. Thirteen photos will be selected to appear in the calendar. Photos must be of the Mantua area—think Mantua Village, Mantua Township, Hiram, and Shalersville. This year’s theme is Naturally Mantua!. A special award will be made for the selected photo that best represents the theme.
Entry forms and information can be found on the Downtown Mantua Revitalization’s website www.revitalizemantua.org or stop into selected shops in Mantua Village and pick up entry forms. A $5.00 entry fee is required for each photo entered.
Art on the Hill and Wine Tasting Too is a fundraiser for Downtown Mantua Revitalization Corporation. Proceeds from the event help fund the revitalization projects they support for the Village of Mantua. The event is scheduled for Saturday July 12, 2025 and will run from 10:00 to 6:00 in Mantua Village on East Prospect Street.
