Bainbridge Community Church UCC is collecting gently used items for our annual “Take what you need, Give what you can” Rummage Sale from Tuesday May 22nd through Thursday, May 24th between 6-8 p.m. Large item pick-up is available on Tuesday, May 22 or Thursday, May 24th. Grief Gathering 2018

St. Ambrose Church will be offering “to the community” a grief gathering on Wednesday evenings,through May 23, from 7 to 9 pm in the church hall. Linda R. Simpson , a parishioner, will be facilitating the six weekly sessions of continuous information and support for grieving individuals. This beautiful, gentle program is a wonderful “first step” in helping yourself, or assisting another, through the difficult journey of grieving a loss. ISRAEL AT 70: History and Present Situations

Richard K. Thewlis, Pastor, who also teaches as an adjunct professor at Hiram College in the Religious Studies Department. It has been 70 years since David ben Gurion made his pronouncement to the world of the formation of the modern State of Israel. There has been much conflict and much trouble in the last 70 years. From Baroque to Broadway

The Hiram Community Chorus will present their spring concert (“From Baroque to Broadway”) Tuesday, May 15, at 7:30 pm in the Recital Hall of Frohring Music Building at Hiram College. The program is open to the public free of charge. The concert will include works by the Baroque giant Johann
Pachelbel and 20th century composers Burt Bacharach, Leonard Bernstein, Rodgers and Hammerstein, and Irving Berlin. The Chorus is directed by Hiram College Professor of Music Emerita Damaris Peters Pike and accompanied by Garrettsville’s Patricia Amor.
