The Portage County Senior Center, located at 705 Oakwood St., in Ravenna has many daily opportunities for local seniors to enjoy. On any given day, you can enjoy, bingo, Tai Chi, educational programs, art class, corn hole, cards & dominos with friends, and they even have a pool table. Auburn Firedevils Craft Fair Fundraiser
Still searching for consultants and crafters for the craft show scheduled for Saturday, November 10 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. This fundraiser for the Auburn Township Volunteer Fire Department will be held at Adams Hall, Auburn Township. Grief Support Group

Run Wild 5K & Fishing Derby

The Shelly Company is hosting a Run Wild 5K and Fishing Derby on Sept. 9th and it’s open to the community. Run Wild 5K (Registration begins at 7:30am the race starts at 8am. It is $10 to enter and proceeds go to the ALS Association Northern Ohio Chapter. Participants receive a 5K tshirt while supplies last. Fishing Derby starts at 9:30am until 11:30am. Prizes awarded for most caught fish and largest caught fish per age groups. These events will take place at the intersection of Price and Weaver Roads, off of State Route 303, just outside of Streetsboro.
