Support Hero’s Rock East Coast Tour

After the collapse of their workshop in March of 2015, Trish and Scott Snyder from Hero’s Rock in Mantua has been determined to fulfill their promise to delivery 28 custom designed Patriotic Pony rocking horse to Fisher Houses across the country. The pair design and build these hand crafted rocking horses to express love and support from people across the country to our brave military and first responders and their families.

“It has been a long and very rewarding labor of love!” Trish beamed. “Last year, Hero’s Rock traveled 10,060 miles across 21 states, delivering 18 rockers to the west coast.” They made a promise to continue their mission on the East Coast, as well. Trish continued, “This year, we’ll travel over 4,000 miles, across 16 states, to deliver eight Patriotic Pony rockers to Fisher Houses and three tribute rockers to fallen hero families.”

The upcoming trip will honor Army Spc. Alan Dikas in Pittsburgh, PA; Air Force SSG Peter Traub in Bethlehem, PA; Marine LCPL Michael Schwarz at Anders AFB in Maryland; CW2 Christopher Thibodeau at Dover AFB in Delaware; Army SPC Michael Rodriguez at Fort Bragg in NC; Marine Cpl. Matthew Dillon in Augusta, Georgia; Army Sgt. Graham Woody in Gainesville, Florida; Police Officer Montrell Jackson in Baton Rouge, LA; Marine Sgt. Frank World at Elgin AFB in Florida; Army SFC Tony Knier at Fort Campbell, Kentucky; and Army SFC William Brian Woods Jr. in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The East Coast trip, which is set to kick off at the end of September, is just a few thousand dollars short of the funds necessary to make the trip. “In a time filled with such division and conflict, keeping our word and spreading love seems more important than ever,” Trish explained. As such, Trish and Scott will be doing some last minute fundraising for Hero’s Rock at the Mantua Potato Festival this weekend. “Stop by and see us as we continue our mission to never forget those who sacrifice so much for our safety and freedom,” Scott added.
