545

The Singing Weavers will be ministering at The First Congregational Church of Freedom on Sunday September 17th at 10:30 a.m. for a special church service, concert and a covered dish dinner.
The Singing Weavers musical group is a three generation family ministry. They have been traveling and spreading God’s love through music and sharing the gospel for more than 45 years.
Verlin and Linda Weaver started their ministry in 1971 and traveled and sang with their children Dennis, Terri, and Vickie. In 1985, Dennis married Chris and she has been sharing her gift of music with the family ministry ever since. Dennis and Chris have 2 children Alyssia and Michael. Alyssia began singing a special with the group at the age of five years old. She now shares her love of Jesus singing God’s word and sharing her testimony.

In 2007, Michael began singing a special with the group and continues to be part of the family’s ministry that touches the hearts of all ages with the love of God through music.
Pastor Jim and Janie Melick invite the public come and join us in an uplifting and joyful Sunday service of music, sharing God’s love with His Word with The Weavers. Please plan to stay for a delicious covered dish dinner afterwards.

The historic First Congregational Church of Freedom, which has been a place of worship since the year 1828, is located on the corner of St.Rt. 88 and 303 in Freedom Township.
