Cleveland Yoga and Western Reserve Land Conservancy are again teaming up for a complimentary morning of yoga Aug. 14 at the Geauga Park District’s Orchard Hills Park in Chester Township.
“Practice on the Preserve:  A Celebration of Yoga and Conservation,” a free event featuring an all-levels class taught by a team of Cleveland Yoga instructors and a special session for children, will run from 10 a.m. to noon at the park, with registration starting at 9 a.m.  In addition to the yoga classes, there will be special raffle prizes, music and food.
This is the third annual “Practice on the Preserve.”  Last year’s event attracted more than 450 people.  Participants are asked to bring a mat or towel, sunscreen and a water bottle.
Parking for this event will be at the Patterson Fruit Farm, 11414 Caves Road in Chesterland.  Reservations are encouraged and can be made by contacting Gina Pausch at (440) 729-9621 or gpausch@wrlandconservancy.org.
Cleveland Yoga, which is located on Richmond Road in Beachwood, is one of the region’s most popular and successful yoga studios.  Western Reserve Land Conservancy, which seeks to preserve the scenic beauty, rural character and natural resources of northern Ohio, has preserved more than 370 properties and more than 23,000 acres in this region.  Orchard Hills Park, a former golf course, is one of the properties preserved by the Land Conservancy.
